I don’t know about you, but every January I like to re-evaluate where I am in my goal planning and what I’d like to see happen over the next year.
If you’d like to see a change in yourself and how you manage your stress and anxiety, I’m with you. This is the perfect time to start!
Following is a list of 10 things you can do to help your mental health over the course of this next year.
- Eat more healthy, consistently (no, really?) Yes, as much as you’ve heard it, a game changer for how you think and feel. Makes a bit difference in your ability to manage stress and anxiety.
- Incorporate nature into your life.
- Learn coping strategies for anxiety & stress (more about that in upcoming posts!)
- Learn and incorporate mindfulness.
- Exercise. Don’t only think it needs to be high intensity. Low impact like walking is also great for managing stress.
- Put time and energy into your support system.
- Incorporate music therapy daily into your life.
- Discover your hobbies, find what you’re passionate about, and spend this next year mastering it.
- Journal
- Be real about your financial situation, planning out where you’d like to be at end of 2025.
This list is just to get you started thinking about things you can do. More to come in upcoming posts as I start going into more detail on each of these important steps.
Happy New Year!
